Our Mission
At Nurture Nest, we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for young adults aged 18 and over. Our mission is to empower care leavers with the skills necessary for independent living, ensuring they have the best possible start in their adult life.
What we Do
Transition & Life Skills Support for Care Leavers
Moving from care to independence can be overwhelming. At Milestone Global, we provide safe, nurturing homes for care leavers, homeless teenagers, and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, helping them develop essential life skills for adulthood.
Our Services
- Floating Support: Flexible assistance to promote independence
- Temporary Accommodation: Short-term safe housing for those in transition or crisis
- Emergency Accommodation: Immediate, safe shelters for individuals in urgent need
Who We Support
Our services are designed for young people aged 18+, including:
- Unaccompanied asylum seekers (UASC)
- Young people with emotional or behavioural difficulties
- NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training)
- Individuals involved in crime or antisocial behaviour
- Those needing help with daily living, social skills, and planning for the future
Key Support Areas
We assist with:
- Medication supervision and adherence
- Developing daily living and social skills
- Engaging in therapeutic and community activities
- Meal preparation and supervision
- Attending appointments and accessing healthcare
- Benefits management and housing support
- Supporting participation in education or training
- Reducing social isolation through befriending and community involvement
